Reflexive and emphatic pronouns
Reflexive pronouns are words that refer to the noun or pronoun that is the subject of the verb. Reflexive pronouns are used in two main situations: when the subject anddirect object are the same thing and when the subject and object of a preposition are the same.
I -> myself
you-> yourself
he-> himself
she-> herself
it-> itself
we-> ourselves
you-> yourselves
they -> themselves
The words myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves and themselves are reflexive pronouns.
My brother built this computer himself.
