„Time clauses” sunt introduse de următoarele conjuncții:
when; as; no sooner ... than; hardly ... when when; while; before; the moment that; since; after; till/ untill; by the time; whenever; as long as; as soon as, etc.
Conjuncții de timp:
BEFORE = before a past time
Andreea started university last year. She had graduated high school two years before. (=two years before last year)
WHEN (time conjunction)+ present tense:
When I see her, I'll show her the letters.
WHEN (question word)+ will:
I don't know when she will show up. ...
